“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”
Finances, work schedules, children’s schedules, health issues, loneliness, and more. There seems to always be something to worry about or something that leaves an uneasy feeling in our minds. Sometimes we get so focused on the problems of life that we lose focus of everything else. When we begin to trust that God is in control of everything, no matter what it looks like, we can rest our minds. When we remember that if He has worked on our behalf before, He will do it again, then we can be at peace.
When we focus on God’s ability to do all things great and small, we can rest our minds and find peace in Him. Troubles will come, but it is how we respond to those troubles that will provide a positive end. Focus on God, not the problem. Focus on what the Holy Spirit is whispering to you. Trust God to be who He is: God, Father and friend. When you learn to focus on God’s ability to do all things, you will truly find the peace that surpasses all understanding!
